As members of the Cassina Garden Club, we are deeply committed to giving back to our community through various projects that reflect our passion for gardening, as well as protecting and preserving our history.

Bringing Blooms and Joy to Heritage Oaks Retirement Center, Marches Edge and The Vitality Senior Living

Twice a year, Cassina volunteers visit the above Retirement Centers on Saint Simons Island. With fifty bunches of purchased vibrant flowers and greenery gathered from our own yards, we create stunning bouquets together with residents that brighten their rooms. This experience is not only fun but also deeply rewarding, as we forge new friendships and share our love for floral design.

Please sign up for our “blooming” volunteer opportunities on the following dates:

Vitality: October 13 at 1:30pm to 3:00 pm

Heritage Oaks: October 14 at 2:00 pm to 3:30 pm

Marsh’s Edge: October 20 at 1:30pm to 3:00 pm

Salvation Army Red Kettle Campaign

Cassina volunteers "ring" during the Red Kettle Campaign for the Glynn County Salvation Army during the Holiday season. The Red Kettle Campaign is the best way for the community to get involved in helping provide desperately needed food and lodging to people in our region year-round.
