The Cassina Garden Club has secured a rare, behind-the-scenes, four-hour tour of the Federal Law Enforcement Training Centers (FLETC).
This is a world-class training facility where law enforcement professionals from across the country train every day. Getting access like this is truly an honor — and yes, it comes with rules, paperwork, deadlines, structure, and a process. (If it feels a little official… that’s because it is.)
Follow the steps below in order and on time, and you’re in. Miss a step, and the process keeps moving without you. No judgment. Just logistics.
Also note, this tour requires a background check of all participants. There are no exceptions so please follow the instructions below.
1. Go to the FLETC web site and complete the on-line form. The form will require the following:

Requested Access Date: You will enter 2/26 - 8:30am-12:30pm
2. Print a copy of your completed FLETC form
3. Put your completed FLETC form in an envelope, together with $15.00 (check or cash)
4. Take the envelope to Lauralyn Mustaki at 11826 Old Demery Road (there will be an envelope on her front porch) February 13 at 11:00 am is the deadline for delivering your form and payment. The first 25 completed forms/payment will be accepted

One important note: Because this tour depends on federal operations and funding, a lapse in appropriations after Friday at 11:59 PM will require us to postpone or cancel. If that happens, we’ll dust ourselves off and try again once funding is restored. Thanks for rolling with it — this is the reality of working with a world-class federal facility.
